When Eggman's floating masterpiece, the EGG CARRIER, comes into view, Eggman retreats, and Sonic and Tails plan to take the Tornado so they can make a landing and make him pay big time.

So, they travel to WINDY VALLEY, CASINOPOLIS, and ICECAP to get the silver, blue, and green Chaos Emeralds, only to be stolen by the duo in both STATION SQUARE and the MYSTIC RUINS. As soon as Eggman and Chaos leave, the duo needs to find the Chaos Emeralds before their arch-nemesis does. There, they take on the EGG HORNET, but lose that Chaos Emerald. When Tails shows Sonic the Chaos Emerald he found, Tails states that he wants to use the power so he can fly his own plane.Īfter that, the duo sets foot in the Mystic Ruins. As soon as the duo heads to the hotel room, Tails explains he was using a power supply that wasn't fully compatible with his plane. Sonic goes out to rescue him at Emerald Coast. Miles "Tails" Prower's story begins when Tails tests out his new plane, and all of a sudden, it starts experiencing engine problems.
